The Polarn O.Pyret Cinderella Dress was recently snaffled up by us in the John Lewis sale. And we’re so in love with this little beauty that we just HAD to share. Our only complaint is that it doesn’t come in adult sizes!
Polarn O. Pyret
Firstly, I’ll have to shamefully admit that Polarn O.Pyret is not a brand that I’m familiar with. In all likelihood this is because, when shopping for Disney clothes, I tend to stick to the familiar favourites – cue Our Favourite Disney Clothes Shops.
Established in Sweden, Polarn O.Pyret has actually been around since 1976 and began selling in the UK in 2006. How did I miss this!? With an ethos of providing sustainable and quality clothing, this brand also has a playful edge that we’re now huge fans of.
The Cinderella Dress
My first encounter with this lovely brand was when mindlessly scrolling the John Lewis Sale. Suddenly, the Polarn O.Pyret Cinderella Dress appeared on my screen. Could it be? Jaq, Gus and Mary, with ribbons and buttons on a pretty powder pink! Luckily for us, the dress was on sale at 50% off, and our little lady’s size was in stock.
When the package arrived yesterday, I was super excited to see how the dress would actually look. What I wasn’t prepared for, was how lovely it would feel. In my excitement over the print, I’d missed the fact that the dress is in fact 95% organic cotton. As such, it feels soft and smooth.
The Polarn O.Pyret Cinderella Dress features long sleeves and back button fastening. This went down well with our little lady as she had more room to wriggle into the dress, making our morning more stress-free. The floaty skirt is knee length and perfect for twirling!
If you’re feeling tempted, at the time of writing PO.P are offering an additional 10% off outlet items. We spotted that the Cinderella Dress is still available today here.
